Sunflowers!

Today the Frazier family of Harrisonburg, Virginia, opened their sunflower field to the public in an act of generosity and public outreach. It was to support and highlight their spring event called Walk for Hope, which they founded to raise awareness about mental health, depression, and suicide among college-age youth, in memory of their son, Austin Frazier. My incredible, bountiful bouquet will make its way into my next sunflower paintings. I am currently working on the fourth of this series. Thank you for this gift!
